Direct Chat not working

My server is running 93825 and it's restricted

Vehicle chat works, but direct chat won't, i'm not just talking about VON text isn't showing up to anyone no matter the distance.

It's not been disabled as far as i know, any ideas?

I initially reported this on LVG's server (US91), but I've experienced this in other servers since.

This is not a localized issue, other servers have the same problem.

Have you updated your mission file recently? Not sure what could be the issue.

We're currently forcing 93965 and direct seems to be working fine based on the console being lively. Didn't have issues with the last patch either. Maybe it's a freak occurrence and we'll experience issues later too.

That was suggested but our mission files were generated around the 5th I think and side/global is restricted, I'll guess I'll try regenerating them

Bumping this up.

Got the problem myself and seen other people in comments on youtube etc having it as well.

I've installed latest beta patch and also tried reinstalling the whole game.

Anyone managed to fix it?

Do you have the ports enabled for it and enabled in your config? It is possible that a windows update may have inadvertently turned your firewall back on, so double check that.

Hmm I'm not much familiar with enabling ports as never done it. Could you give me some hints?

I've double checked Windows firewall and arma is allowed here.

Also added the ports mentioned by Dante in my router settings.

Still it seems not working.

I've got a free ArmA2 and bought just OA. Can that be it?
