If we owned Dayz from the Arma mod are we required to re-buy the game again to play ?
I really hope not because it was enough cash getting Arma and the expansions alone.

Your sig didnt really answer my question? It just mentioned how and when to play the Alpha. Or what to do before you buy it.

You did not BUY DayZ to begin with as it was a FREE MOD you bought Arma

so you can Now buy Dayz

You didn't buy DayZ when you bought ArmA. You bought ArmA, a completely different game. DayZ Mod was purely a mod for the game.

 

DayZ Standalone is a standalone game (a.k.a not supported by ArmA). Therefor you will need to purchase the Standalone game if you wish to play.
