I salute BI and Dean Hall

I expected the first days after the alpher release to be a clusterf*ck of crashed and/or full servers. Within 45 minutes of release I was downloading the game and have now played about three hours on one of the many many servers without any crashes or severe performance issues.

Bohemia Interactive and Dean Hall, you pulled of the smoothest start that anyone could have imagined of one of the most anticipated games of the year.

I salute you, thank you for your work and wish you the very best for the future development of this beauty.

I have also been very pleased.  Already much better than the mod, the inventory system is very smooth!  The only issues I seem to be having is walking/running.  Sometimes my guy will only walk, and double tapping or holding shift does nothing, and sometimes it works.

If it does this you are "scoped in" or aiming down sights but don't have a weapon so can't really notice (at least I'm assuming this because its happened to me :D ) just right click and your running/walking will resume as normal
