How do I interact with surroundings?

For example, I saw Rocket drinking from a bog on stream. However middle mouse button does nothing for me. Also it says my character is sleepy but I don't know how to make him sleep when I am near a bed.

Atm some ponds are bugged I think and you cannot drink straight from them. Otherwise ^

Does this go for sleeping as well? because I haven't been able to sleep in beds.

Sleeping is not implemented yet and will most likely never be.

Feeling tired/ like taking a nap are messages that can be related to both low water and low energy levels. You need to eat and/or drink.
