damo19951 0 Posted December 15, 2013 Hello, i saw someone say that they have ai5 3570k 3.4ghz.GTX 780. and still cant run dayz, they get 15fps and that you have to be lucky to run dayz, is that true?
krihelion 175 Posted December 15, 2013 no it is not true, the key to good fps on arma NEVER run full settings unless you are playing domi /ace or single player OPTIMIZE the game using all methods CLOSE other resource intensive programs I have ran dayz on everything from shit duo core pcs to some pretty beefy machines, they all have worked fine for me because i respect arma and know that i should always optimize my machine and dont try to run 3 armas at once if said person did the above, chances are they were on an awful server maxed out and it was an isolated thing
Statik (DayZ) 2695 Posted December 15, 2013 That person was fuckin' something up. Those will run FINE.
Zedertone 378 Posted December 15, 2013 (edited) A lot of people have an issue running it with amazing PC's because of some sort of error. But without error, he may have mistaken his one DayZ window for 10 of them. Edited December 15, 2013 by Zedertone
dulix11 731 Posted December 15, 2013 More than likely he is trying to run it with AA on full, PPE on full etc etc Even with powerful systems like that it will struggle immensley.
boneboys 7988 Posted December 15, 2013 With that machine I bet I could get a steady 35/40 fps with very nice graphics. You just need to set it up right and have some understanding of how things work. Basic guide can be found here...http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/28160-guide-how-to-set-up-your-graphics-properly/#entry271288Put a little more effort into the title next time.
