Why do I keep getting kicked?

I've only been playing a few days. This morning when I login I am getting kicked either immediately or within a few minutes of getting started. What is causing that? I check in commander and my ping is good. I try to connect to servers with a ping of 50 or less. I'm current on all versions and I was able to login and play for a while earlier this morning then I started having issues.

Just as Star pointed out - we need the information what it kicked you with. Don't ignore the error, it will give you the reason.

 

If you post the error tell us what you have been doing at the time.

 

Also, when it doesn't give you an error: get your friends to be on the server at the time to tell you what error it gave when it kicked you, as Signature-kicks don't display.

 

When it is infact a signature-error try to verify your local files of Arma 2 and Operation Arrowhead on Steam

Oh ok, thanks guys. I couldn't tell you what the error says. When it happend this morning I was just running, (or had just logged on), and a little box popped up on screen that said I had been kicked from the server with no other information. I then tried to connect to a couple others and got the same message.

Eventually I refreshed the server list and picked a really low ping server and had no problem.

 

I'm wondering if maybe I had some connectivity issue at home and was getting kicked from that?

Try a different server to make sure your internet is working. If not I would check my firewall to make sure day z is allowed.
