Losing Zed.

This morning I logged on and explored a barn. while I was leaving I aggroed a Zed. So the chase was on. Since I was near a hill with a forest I figure I would lose him there. However, I could not lose him. Every time I would get the Zed to about 50 - 100 meters away, he would scream and run with super zombie speed and appear right behind me again. I could not find a rock or steep enough hill to loose the zed. Eventual outcome is he got a hit on me broke my leg and I died it was a good life. Time for the hunt to begin again. :P

Do any of you have a good strategy to lose super fast zed? My normal approach is: run though a building with 2+ exits, run around the build and sneak away, run up/down a steep hill

Any advice would be great. Thanks

Run into a house or use the ultimate zombie weakness, stairs

climb ladders lightning fast but only manage to walk up steps
