Server saying "Wrong Version"

Hello, i buyed yesterday Arma 2 with all DLC's, then i installed it, started it, played a little bit, and installed DayZ Commander, then i installed the Arma 2 Version 103718 and downloaded DayZ 1.8.0.3 then i tried to play. But Arma says I got the old 1.6.2 version so i cant play on the servers, but i installed the newest version 103718 in DayZ Commander.

I reinstalled AO and tried a lot but everytime he says i got the old version, 2 times i came in the servers (which was an error i think) and i can play it, but I cant play on servers.

Also i cant play it on steam, have to start it in DayZCommander...

What can i do?

Try this:

 

Go to your ARMA 2: OA folder and rename your "ARMA2OA.exe" to "ARMA2OA_backup.exe".

 

Then go to "Expansions"-->"Beta" and copy the "ARMA2OA.exe" over to your main ARMA 2: OA directory.

 

 

THen try launching again and see what happens.

Did you download/install the newest Operation Arrowhead Beta update? http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php Right at the top, version 11 thousand something (damn BI is busy...)

 

Are you launching the beta patch from Steam (NOT ArmA 2: Operation Arrowhead. Specifically the one that says "Beta" in its name)

Hey, I'm new to pc and am having the same problem. I got arma 2, dayz and operation arrowhead all from steam. When launching multiplayer, it says it requires version 1.62.103718 when i have 1.62? What do I do?

 

I know I'm still asking the same question but thanks for the support.
