Why would you have non running zombies, that defeats the whole point of them surely?

Have fun with all the lag you wil get which the free distance setting, that's why they ( the devs ) kept the view distance low so users with slow PCs won't use high view distances to not have a disadvantage and lag the entire server and population in the process. It looks nice and all but in the end you can't engage anything beyond 1500m anyway ( that would be a ca. 2250m viewdistance setting if i'm right )
