Will DAYZ standalone early access be coming to Steam?

Hello everyone. So i'm getting ready for DAYZ standalone, and I THINK its been confirmed that it will have early access. I've been hearing a lot that it might come out before 2013 is out the door, but theres now way to know. ANYWAYS, I was just wondering if standalone was coming to Steam and/or if there would be the alpha build on there, where we pay for it in alpha stages and keep it till full release? I heard something about it being in the Steam database, but you know, you can never know for sure.

Yes. It has been confirmed that it will be released (the Alpha) on Steam.

Sweet, I'm gonna go put some money into steam right now. Whether the reviews are good are bad, the SA team already has my money in their pockets :D

Nope it's Origin only and EA will be charging the small price of £55 for the Standard Edition or £129 for the Digital Deluxe edition and since it comes with the ability to play online, that's the version you will have to get. Then two weeks later 2 map packs will be launched so you really will want to buy their Dayz Premium service for the small price of £40.

Kinda got bored of the whole zombie thing, moving on to fresher fields.
