DayZ Epoch - Backpack disappearing

So I had an Alice filled with a couple 10oz. Golds, other random currency, and tons of other stuff.

I bought a Coyote (55 slots) but I was still wearing the Alice when I made the purchase.

 

The Alice was gone. Everything in it, gone.

 

I know I should have removed the Alice but is this typical? I was pissed as everything in it was gone..spare weapons, money, etc. At least my key for my truck was on my belt and not in the backpack lol.

 

 

Just curious cause I was upset. I did a search on backpacks but wasn't finding much regarding this...  cheers!

I just know some things tend to be mod specific, not server specific. This seemed like one of those situations. I can report it to the specific server admins though and see if they have any input. thanks!

Yes report it to them on their forums will be quicker.

.ender. this is typical for that type of transaction.  it would be difficult to make it so any item in your inventory got placed on the ground when trading items.
