Die philosoffische Spielwiese - Chernarus - 1.8.0.3

Dear all,

 

I would like to introduce our Chernarus server. We are „die Philosoffen“, a Multi-Gaming-Clan and the Hosts of „die philosoffische Spielwiese“, you can get more informations about us at www.die-philosoffen.com.

So back to the important things….the server!  :)

DayZ Mod: 1.8.0.3

We always try to be up to date. In this case it means we are playing on Mod 1.8.0.3.

 

Serverfeatures

Grab skins from dead bodies: You have the option to take clothes (Camo, Ghillie) from dead players. The only thing you need is a dead player and one free slot at your inventory.

 

Improved Killmessages: In addition to the usual kill message „Lolly was killed“ we give our players a few more details. The improved messages are: „LOLLY (ARMED WITH DMR) WAS KILLED BY PHONY WITH WEAPON M24 FROM 532,2485M. HE SURVIVED 3 DAYZ“.

Bloodbag yourself: If you have a bloodbag at your inventory and your are not in combat, you can tak it by yourself. This action takes 30 seconds and restore 3000 blood. 

 

Take Ownership from tents: You can take the ownership of any tent you find, pick it up and place it somewhere else.

 

Halo Jump: The Halo Jump offers you an alternative to „eject“ to get out of a helicopter/airplane.

You have to open the parachute manually here (!) and you can define your flight direction.

 

Suicide: If you have a secondary gun and a bullet for it, you can kill yourself by turning the mouse wheel and select „suicide“.

 

Crashsite Finder: We turned the radio into a crashsite finder (can be found in freshly spawned Little Birds). After the activation of the radio it starts beeping if there is a crashsite within a radius of 1,2 km, but be carefull others can hear it too.

 

Additional Buildings: You can find additional buildings at Kamenka, Balota, Elektro, Skalisty, Stary, NWA, NEA and Klen.

 

We also build our own statistic page. At www.die-philosoffen.com/DayZ. There you can find the statistic of all players from the server and you are able to take a look who u may can trust.

 

Clans, groups, single players………you are all welcome! We have a colorful mix of helpful fellows and bandits.

Been playing on this server for a few weeks. Overall very good.

 

Good, active admins and good population overall

 

Only thing I don't like is the ability to take ownership of tents. Losing your stuff is bad enough but losing everything is a bit too harsh imo. Especially since I mostly play as a lone wolf
