krihelion 175 Posted November 3, 2013 Searched for it but couldnt find anything, anyone know if BI has said anything about seeing weapons like the BAR, Springfield, Lugers, MPs,PPSh,DShK, or any of the early assault rifes such as the M1A1 carbine. Would be pretty interesting to have these as the high end weapons, maybe stretching into AK and AR variants as super high end. Alot of WWI-Post WWII era weapons would be perfect for this, and would be pretty reasonable to have as a former eastern bloc state such as chernarus, that historically would have been involved in both world wars. I know that I would be after something like the Bren or the BAR for a end game weapon, id rather have one of those over an M4 simply for the sheer firepower they pack. No doubt those guns would have been removed from the civilians, at least most of them, and even then not many western weapons would be in a satellite state. Mosins and AKs galore, sure, but no BARs or M1A1 just laying around. With military intervention against the infection I'd imagine there would be modern AKs at best in a little place like Chernarus. LMGs maybe, but extremely rare.__________ That's just my thought, and even with things like M4A3s and M24s lying about I'm not really complaining. beavis_5000 111 Posted November 3, 2013 I would like to see an AA-12 with a drum clip. Im a shotty kinda guy and there is no high end shotty in DayZ. No shotty is good in close quarters, your much better off with any AR. The AA-12 is my favorite video game gun of all time because it looks so awesome.
