new player on a server

:beans:  :beans:  :beans: ok guys i just got arma 2 CO yesterday and i really want to play some dayz.... i have everything downloaded but i cant connect to anyones servers... does anyone know how to help me... also how do u make a server :beans:  :beans:  :beans:  :murder:  :bandit:  :facepalm:

I use Dayz Commander to play-you can install mods easily and with the filter select only the mods you want when searching for a game. It also tells you when your files need updating. Also, there is a thread to get Dayz running well which will help. If you screw up the installation you will have nothing but problems. I had to uninstall everything and redo it and have had no problems since. Good luck.

I don't go through steam at all anymore, so as mentioned before, depending on your access-route to servers, I too use DayZ Commander http://www.dayzcommander.com/
