I think presentation and artwork are very important.

 

I am far from being an artist as i can barely draw stick men, but i like the fact that extra effort is made to make something look good rather than just serve a purpose.  Just look at the art change for the mod recently - it looks slicker.

 

Of course if a game is a great steaming pile of shit then no presentation in the world will save it.  Leonardo Da Vinci's ghost could have worked on WarZ and nothing would have changed that fact.
