.Ender. 42 Posted October 29, 2013 Dunno if this is the wrong spot for this thread, but I need some help.I have been playing Vanilla since DayZ came out. (off and on).Yesterday I tried Epoch. So far its basically the same except I found locked vehicles and a pretty cool custom fortress..lol. But I was changing outfits in a residential building I came across. As soon as I put on the rebel outfit from my spawned civy, I broke my leg. Well it wasn't just that and that's it..I can crawl around and survive. But then I started bleeding profusely. Now I had one bandage and lots of meat. Within a minute or two I started bleeding again and lost almost all my blood. No more bandages, one more meat, and no epipen to fix my broken bone. Is this known? Should I have just not changed? Does anyone support medic services in the Epoch mod? Kind of sucks..was doing well and now I die not from players or zeds, but because I apparently cant figure out how to put on camo pants without hurting myself.... :/
TheRedScare 353 Posted October 29, 2013 Its a bug just, sometimes its caused by the previous owner having broken legs, this is because changing skins changes the actual player, so its like loading a new character.
.Ender. 42 Posted October 29, 2013 well that sucks. Looks like Ill have to let myself bleed out and start all over. Exactly the reason I quit playing before..dying after lots of hard work because of some random thing.
Fraggle (DayZ) 15720 Posted October 29, 2013 Moved to private hive discussion, not a DayZ issue.
kichilron 8550 Posted October 29, 2013 It was actually an issue on vanilla DayZ as well for a bit. Sometimes you still see people having bloody legs when they change skins, yet they can around happily. It's a known issue and has been around for a while. It is unlikely to start bleeding, though. Rarely happens to me. By the way: you don't need Epi-Pens to fix your leg - it's Morphine. :)

.Ender. 42 Posted October 29, 2013 hah... yeah well it shows how long Ive been out of it...just sucks my character will die for something so silly. Ill just die an honorable and fairly horrible death, hacking away at zed ankles until my last drop of blood....
