I'm new to DayZ, just downloaded it but everytime i try to join a server it says "bad server, rejected" what do i do to fix this problem so i can start playing? kichilron 8550 Posted October 27, 2013 That means that your Beta-Patch is out of date. If you use steam you can download the betapatch there and install it. Alternatively you can use DayZCommander to install the betapatch you need, which will most likely be the 103718-version. If you're feeling very fancy you can install it yourself. You have to make sure to copy over the arma2oa.exe from your Expansions\beta directory in your gamedirectory to the rootdirectory of you Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead folder. I could be wrong I cant look at the moment. In the upper right corner you click on "install/update" (I believe). When you open this up it will be on top and will say Arma Version.
