Custom loot and buildings disappearing

Recommended Posts

Hi

I have a dayz.st server and it was all going until my custom loot started to disappear after about 30 mins to about an hour to the server starting up. Then to make it worse when the server dose its scheduled restart all of the custom buildings that i made disappear. The only time when i can get it all back is when i physically go onto the control panel and stop and start the server. The way i have put the custom buildings is via the database (which i know is no the best way to do it but i couldn't merge the dayz and my custom map together ). Can anyone help me solve this problem? Thanks in advance! :)

You can try to implement your buildings you created in a "mission.sqf" into the server.pbo.

That way you will get any errors you created logged in your arma2oaserver.rpt and also have a dialog_log for when it's actually being loaded.

kichilrog is correct. The best way to add stuff is via the mission file.

A short tutorial on how to do that:

dayz_mission.pbo > init.sqf >

Put this after the if (isServer) then { part in there:

[] ExecVM "compile\buildings.sqf";

Then, go to your mission you created with all the buildings in that should be located in

Documents\Arma2\missions\*yourmissionname*.*map* and copy the contents of the mission.sqf from there into a new file called "buildings.sqf".

Remove all of the other stuff that is not a part of the _vehicle_ entries in that file.

so the file should start with _vehicle_*number* = objNull

And should also end with a }; from the last _vehicle_

Anything after that should be deleted. (mostly 3 more rows with short code)

if you did not understand the above, just message me.
