• The latest Dayz changes and what you think of them
• The imminent release of Taviana 3.0, after being held back by the dicks at GP who sent out fake DMCA notices
• The release of a brand new mod called Dayz Caribou, all new mods need help at the start

You're a mighty big fan of origins then?

 

I like D4Cs videos, I've only watched a couple but for any Origins/half origins fan, I think they are good. Personally I'd make them shorter, but I have the attention span of a special fish, so don't mind me. I don't understand why you have such an intense hate for kinghunt, they are providing Origins for free to the masses, as well as updating the community regularly. If you're going to bitch, tell us why the things kinghunt did are so totally horrible and affect you personally?

 

Origins is Deadcerts thing, if you don't like it, I'd suggest moving on.

You make yourself look stupid every time you post, seems very personal for you to be this rude. I post what I enjoy playing and then share it. I don't dart from mod to mod like a crazy mofo I play in a group most of the time and we put our hours in. 

 

So enlighten me what new features will Taviana 3 bring to the table? I hope there is some story in the game this is more important to me than some strap on landmass? Common sense tells me that no fake DMCA notice is going to hold back development of a map I doubt they have bought the engine licence for. Its does not put physical handcuffs on the map designers does it? If its fake why stop development? Its seems like you are just drumming up troll.

 

Caribou maybe but BF4 is round the corner and I am going to be hitting that hard.

It's not personal, I just despise what GP are doing, they are the only Dayz mod that makes money by having licensed partners who pay them for the server files.

Almost all the scripts and addons used in Origins were community made and used without permission or props.

 

The fake DMCA notice did actully stop development of Taviana, Hicks had enough of the bullshit and stopped, Opendayz released an updated Taviana and GP sent This false DMCA notice to their hosts, the host almost shutdown Opendayz.net and stopped development of Taviana 3.0.

 

Anyways, It's nothing personal against you so i'll stop commenting on your posts :)

Well I agree a false DMCA notice is dodgy as hell. How do you know it is false? I'm asking because I am no legal council.

 

Also there are a few mods making money off the back of DayZ. Aftermath is exclusive to a server provider and requires an installer which I wont touch after coming very close to having my key stolen by another mod. DayZRP prioritises paying customers and charges for skins in an online store. Not to mention a few others places making more than just your average server donation.

 

Why are none of these pursued in such an equal aggressive manor?

I'd argue it's because Origins paved the way by showing others that money can be made from other peoples work.

 

Anyhoo, it's not DeadCerts fault so let's just enjoy the vids or not.
