Got new gpu but it lags

Hi 

i bought new graphic card AMD RADEON HD6850 1gb but dayz still laggy for me when i got to the chernarus i always get 15fps but outside citys i get 50 manx fps is it possible to fix it at least is there something i can do to fix it 

my pc specs

*OS:Windows 7 Ultimate

*CPU:Intel Core Quad Q6600 2.40Ghz

*GPU:HD 6850 1GB

*RAM:4GB

*Hard drive:1TB 

*Power Suppply:700W 

 

P.S i can play all other games on high settings like crysis 3 ASSASINS CREED 3 and other games too without any lag but dayz lags

Your processor is way too weak to get even remotely close to good frames on dayz

Arma 2 is extremely CPU intensive, and you will always experience lag with a CPU @ 2.4 Ghz. 

 

Google some adjustments for your settings to try and take the strain away from the CPU.

Make sure you try different servers and different mods of the mod or even a singleplayer-mission of ARMA II to compare your FPS. Also - read this guide.

its only dayz i can play other mods without problem arma 2 or arma 2 operation arrowhead
