Hosting Survivor Games Regulary!

Right so this is my goal, i want to host a few servers which admins (i havent got any yet) run manually, maybe in the future we develop a mod that can make this all run automatically, but i want to now start hosting survivor games regulary, im new to all this server hosting stuff.

 

Right i need people who know how to setup servers, are mature, and are intrested in this topic.

 

I want to host Survivor Games regulary, no time schedule yet, i will make a website as soon as i got the right staff, if you are intrested in proceeding further with my aim/goal you can contact me over the forums and we will exchange further details, like skype, teamspeak etc..

 

please note this is only a brief explanation of my goal.

people are maybe reluctant as they will have to do all the work as you probably dont know how to run a server. if its a dedi box its on its alot of work. then there is the cost which if you have two servers can be expensive outlay a month. you also seem to be new here.

 

so no back ground on here

no experience with servers or running them

you want to make mods but have no knowledge

 

everyone does have to start somewhere good luck with doing it but its alot of hard work and you dont just fluke a busy server it take alot of work. also the survivor series are pretty lame tbh. wont go anywhere.

 

its a bit late in the game to be messing with this tbh i cant see SA being later than christmas id wait for then . all stuff will be locked down and running a serve will be pretty easy.

running a server, and building a community to fill it with life, is hard enough on it's own.

if you have no concept to start with, other than a promise for a survivor games mod that may be released in the future, noone will really stick with it, other then using it to server hop military spots.

you need that mod, or at least a very basic attempt, to be ready when you start your server.

 

you want to create a mod like this from scratch, but you don't have any knowledge about running a server or creating a mod, and you don't have any people who do.

and then you take on some fierce competition, with the survivor gamez held by hicks, and the battle royale mod, which appears to have a dayz-spinoff now.

 

if you are serious with this, you gonne need a hell lot of money. if all else fails, enough money will always do the trick.

 

but to be honest. so far that doesn't sound like something i'd want to invest any time or money into.
