Yeah it's one of the better features in the game. I always hated how some FPS games you can walk up and shoot someone in the neck with a pistol and put them at 1 life then they can seamlessly turn around and blast you 500 times with an AK.

Just switch to CoD or Battlefield - there's what you want... going straight against gunfire hitting you is fun... but dayz has never been a fun (except zombies falling off rooftops)))

Only problem I have with Shock is that sometimes when I spawn, I go into shock.

Simple fix: Everytime you get so low health you can get into shock, just kill yourself!

Hoping they add something so you can someday blow your own brains out, so I can suggest that to all the whiners instead
