Graffiti

Recommended Posts

I myself have a clan of about 10 guys. We frequently patrol alot of chernarus in our cars that we fix up (and people say theres no insentive for teamwork, none of us are friends in RL and we all met completely at random). We have a known presence on a certains server and players who frequent that server know who we are.

Graffiti would be a way for players to mark their territory and would add a bit to immersion and gameplay. Imagine going to Devil's Castle and seeing a large hammer and sickle painted on the walls that you know wasnt there before. It would bring up alot of new decisions for the player.

"is it really worth going in if a clan is clan is holed up here?"

"could there be anyone currently there?"

"is it worth the risk"

So pretty much graffiti would be an effective phsychological tool that brings out new behaviors and emotions in players. It also creates a false sense of urgency that alters the way players think.

I might add more to this once i think of more.

What do you guys think?

Edit: and of course, you would need items to create graphiti, such as a bucket of paint. You would be able to create your graffiti in the color of the paint that you find.

the hammer and sickle is just an example. However i think the implimentation of something as simple as graffiti would add a whole new level of depth to the game.

i agree with the cock and balls..that shit would be everywhere man. Cherno would look like a typical school washroom.

No matter what was implemented to stop cock and balls type graffiti..they would find a way once they ahd the tools.

The color would depend on the color of the paint you find ingame. Red paint is really all you would need

No doubt - But Im sure even a apocolypse wouldn't be immune to immaturity - Maybe there could be a designated set/combination of possible tags/notes like they have in dark souls?
