anderse 10 Posted October 8, 2013 Yeah I apologize for that. I visited the bmrf site, seen they gave loadouts for donations and assumed the zombies.nu server was the same. But yeah I played on the zombies.nu server and its by far the best server ive been on in a long time. Only down side is im on 130-150ms+ but I will take it considering my other options, especially when some of my vanilla servers are low (which is always). You need a team mate? It's ok, I couldn't imagine bmrf had that crap either..and who knows what zombies.nu decides to do in the future..in desperation of getting some money, lol, but no I think they have a mature enough playerbase to avoid this. I'm playing with a few friends, if you are interested in playing with me/us, drop me a pm and we can discuss more if such.
GMGranger 0 Posted October 12, 2013 I like 1.8 vanilla, it's stable. However the new updates are causing some server issues regarding to lag.

NagsterTheGangster 388 Posted October 14, 2013 I'm a Vanilla player myselfHavent had enough experience on Epoch etc to really give too much input but I think as a new player Vanilla is the way to go.
rossums 2190 Posted October 14, 2013 It's all down to what you want from the game.I prefer versions that follow the same formula and carry the spirit of the original game (Vanilla/DayZero) but some people just prefer to mindlessly shoot each other and drive vehicles around - something they could be doing in multiple other games that provide a better experience. There is also Epoch (which is very hit and miss) which provides base-building if you're a Minecraft fanboy - it tends to be full of crappy pay2win and bazillion vehicle servers which really defeats the purpose of the whole currency system since you find cars everywhere.Whatever floats your boat, really.
