SmashT 10907 Posted September 15, 2013 (edited) Check DayZCommander is allowed through your window firewall, If that doesn't work:Try flushing your DNS (Start > Command Prompt > Type: Ipconfig /flushdns)if that doesn't work:Change your DNS settings to either Google's or OpenDNS, instructions for each are below:https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/docs/usinghttps://store.opendns.com/setup/computer/ Edited September 15, 2013 by SmashT

I've folllowed the suggestions (in order in which they were presented), and it is still not working. In addition to the aforementioned bug, this came up when I tried to download 1.8.0.2 after upgrading my current build (1.8) to 1.8.0.1, then downgrading to my current build, and finally to 1.8.0.2 : cdn.dayz.st resolved to 69.39.239.145System.Net.WebException: Unable to connect to the remote server ---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException:No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 69.39.239.141:80 at System.Net.Sockets.Socket.DoConnect(EndPoint endPointSnapshot, SocketAddress socketAddress) at System.Net.ServicePoint.ConnectSocketInternal(Boolean connectFailure, Socket s4, Socket s6, Socket& socket, IPAddress& address, ConnectSocketState state, IAsyncResult asyncResult, Exception& exceptio*?* --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse() at Dotjosh.DayZCommander.App.Core.ModDownloader.DownloadandExtract(Int64& totalDownloaded, Double totalSize) at Dotjosh.DayZCommander.App.Core.ModVersionInstaller.InstallSync(ModVersion newVersion, ModVersionFile modVersionFile) *?*= I don't know if this was cut off by the monitor or if the word was incomplete, I assume the former I also have a custom face created that I am using, just in case that matters in the troubleshooting process (it probably doesn't). Can anyone help me out? I'm not very good at scripts and codes, and only know the lowest form of basics about them (application, sometimes what they do, etc.). Thank you for your time! -Se7eN- 874 Posted October 10, 2013 Having a custom face shouldn't cause any issues with DzCommander, however you will get kicked from alot of servers if you have an imported face, so bare that in mind.(You will get a message saying face.jpg is too big or something along them lines) If you have followed the above and are still having no luck try the following: 1) Anti-virus / Malware:Make sure non of your antiviurs softwares are infracting with DZC, did you install anything recently that you think might be causing it? Things like malware bytes have been known to cause DZC issues, if that is the case try and either whitelist dayz commander in the softwares that are causing the issue, or temp uninstall them. 2) Net Framework:Now this one is very unlikely, but ive seen it fix this problem before, so make sure your up-to-date with the following version:http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=30653 3) Administrator:Make sure you are running DZC in administrator mode, you can permanently turn this on by right clicking DZC / Properties / compatibility / and check "run this program as an administrator". 4) Uninstalls:So there are two things you can try here, find the mod thats causing the download issue, and simply uninstall it via its directory, in this case "@DayZ", reboot commander and try again.Or you can uninstall commander, re-download and try again, there are some tutorials about how to completely uninstall its cache and what not. For reference on the dayz uninstall, here are the directories: Steam: (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead) (I actually just forgot the disc version, if you do have a disc copy and cant find your directory let me know and ill try dig it up) Hopes this helps.-D7

Or at least, that's what it was saying to me yesterday. It's certainly not saying that today (Maybe it was on its period)... Anyways, I tried downloading it again today and it worked without a hitch. But I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to respond to my issue. Take care!
