Hello,

 

So I was thinking that adding a section for all the Writers in this community would be nice. It will be a section where users can --write their character's journal,

-write about in-game stories

-DayZ forum roleplay

 

Just a board which will include 3 seperate categories for example:

1) Character's Journal

2) In-game Stories (usually you will write here about your encounters with zombies, bandits and anything exciting you want to share.. experiences from in-game)

3) RolePlay

 

What do you guys think?

Those sort of things happen rather often in the Survivor HQ. I know I've seen a thread before asking for people to post character bios, and there's stories in there all the time.

 

Roleplay, however... I don't see how it'd fit in that well, here. I'm not against it, though, they're enjoyable to just read, but I don't think there'd be too much interest in it from the community. Still, I like the suggestions you're providing.

Although I'm not into RP, I agree the forums need to add/change/clean a couple of new sections. IMO it's kinda chaotic as it works right now. You've got a DayZ mod section where most new threads are about the standalone, you've got a survivor camp section working as a recruitment place, there's not a dedicated public hive section, half posts in new player discussion are about hardware when there's a support section, etc. Could also use a streaming section, a VoIP section (TS3, Mumble, Skype, etc) and a modding/scripting section.

 

Also, red dotted lines do not line up with the image in your signature. Try some alignment (left, center, right) tags.

That's weird because they are all centered. Can you please take a screenshot of what you see and share it with me?

 

Also what is said in your post is something I have seen and noticed too today, I agree.

I can get into the stories, if they're well written at least. I'd support it if they made it.
