Need help on increasing my fps

Recommended Posts

Hi, can someone help me? When I play dayz, i would only get like 20 to 30 fps and I am wondering why I getting low fps

Here's my specs:

CPU: Amd Fx-4100 Quad-Core Processor

GPU: Amd Radeon HD 6700 Series

Operating system: Windows 7 Professional

RAM: 8Gb

Is there any way I'm able to get like 40 to 60 fps?

$1000 rig? That's hard to believe. If that costed you a thousand dollars you got ripped off.

I believe your processor is lacking, DayZ is very CPU-intensive, some people with way better rigs get about the same FPS as you. There are many optimization guides you can look up but they won't do much other than getting you a few more fps.

LOL

I have a better rig than you and it did NOT cost me $1000.

Did you build it yourself? If you didn't then that explains it all.

BUT, you should still be able to play DayZ at atleast 30 FPS.

Theres no way for you to get better fps. If you want a reasonable FPS. Get a better a graphic card and a CPU. Atleast an I5 i would say. Stay away from AMD since their IPC are horrible compared to intel.
