When i try to join a server it says 'Connecting Failed' or 'bad version'

 

HELP!?!

Make sure the server you're joining is the same version as what you have.

If you're using Steam, it should be 1.7.7.1. (Unless I'm behind on the patch notes.)

Its says DayZ: Corrupt                      1.7.7.1(latest) and when i try to repair it, it is still corrupt

use dayz commander

dayzcommander.com (make sure to find the "right" download button there, there are a few annoying ads with download links to other random stuff)

try reinstall via dayzcommander, then install and fix beta (by going to  C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\expansion\beta folder and copying the launcher to main arma2 OA folder
