1.4.8 - Losing all gear and spawning on the coast.

I was near Devil's castle before the 1.4.8 update, with an AK-74 and a few other goodies (cooked meat, and what not), logged in on a 1.4.8 server, all of my gear was gone and I spawned on the coast.

Is there anyway to fix this, is my stuff lost? Anyone else having this problem?

EDIT: Not exactly all gear, but back to complete starter gear, everything you get when you spawn a new character.

The thing is I joined a server this morning had all my gear, then went to change server and then I was reset and spawned at coast.......

Yep... Same thing here.

I just searched my character on the leader boards, and it seems I have magically gained an extra 5 character deaths. That is probably why I have been reset....

1.4.8 Character Deaths

It has come to our attention that some characters are being killed after applying the 1.4.8 update. If this happens to you' date=' then email in to [email protected] with your in-game name, and what you were carrying at the time.
