I think it would be nice to implement things ragdolling on death (not wildly, but not pre-set falling on the floor) and if YOU died, you would still be in first-person, watching yourself fall down. It's nothing fancy, but I like it.

Sounds cool actually.  Watching your character fall as the screen slowly fades to red.  Would make dieing more dramatic.
