the GT 330 is bottlenecking your system pretty badly. also there are several threads that show you how to optimise arma 2/ dayZ so you can get better framerates. also, dayZ/arma2 themselves are extremely poorly optimised so they can work really badly even on the best of PC's.

The whole system is a bit well under what I would recommend for ARMA 2/DayZ mod, the graphics card especially.

I have a slightly higher spec laptop that I don't have ARMA 2 installed on because it just wouldn't run well.

this is laptop lol

I know. The m in i5 480m and GT 330m stands for mobile, i.e. laptop.

can someone tell me how to fix this? Not say that my computer is shitty or somehing?

Upgrade. It won't run smoothly on that machine, unfortunately.

Run your game on 800 by 600 3d and interface resolution.  That will give you the most significant frame rate increase.  With other tweaks you can scrape a frame or two, but your computer is well...

...shitty or somehing?

I was going to say it just tries very hard.

Programs like that aren't always perfect, you are being severely bottle necked by your GPU, I suggest upgrading, or getting a new computer, you wont be able to pull much off with that GPU whatsoever.

Thanks, Husky.
