Dayz offline Playable?

Hello , is there a simple possibility to Play dayz offline? When i´m with my Girlfriend at Home there is no Internet Connection (yeah really :D). If would by nice to play offline and look a bit arround

Create your own local server, I'm fairly sure there are lots of guides around.

There is one, which i think is called Daizy, but i'm not sure.

I gave DazY a try, found there were too many tweeks and bugs to overcome...I gave up. I did play a single player version of the stand a lone last month, but it was rough, had very few trees on the map so the zeds could see you from over 200 meters, I even spawned in my underwear a few times!

Ok , you really think i should try Daizy? There is another thing , i can use my Mobile Telefon for Internet Connection , but it is very bad and i think i would be very laggy. Or can i use it only for creating my own server without any players?

You can also set up your own private hive server install and host it on your own PC, then play on that without connecting to the internet.  Something like a pwnoz0r or reality build should be fairly straightforward.

 

You will need a connection to get the server build files in the first place, which aren't much bigger than the DayZ client download.
