Ammunition

Recommended Posts

I'm sure you guys might have heard this before, but one of the main things I want for the SA is being able to combine your magazines. I've had times where I had 2 half-empty mags, and I was constantly worrying when I'd load those into my gun. I hope that you can combine mags, but like bandaging, it takes a second or two to combine (because irl, loading mags with bullets does take a while, it can't be done instantaneously).

There already is magazine combining in this latest patch. I doubt they'd implement it into the mod and then just dump the idea for SA.

This is already implemented in the mod. I'm pretty sure it's going to be in the game aswell

Magazines are going to be containers for individual bullets.

So yes, you can repack magazines.

Isn't the SA going to handle mags totally differently, too? As in, your "bullets" and your "magazines" are separate items. So you could keep a lot of shells in your backpack but only have, say, three magazines on you.

Yeah that's what I've heard.  So we might be able to find individual bullets laying around or in boxes and such.

We could get some Metro currency shit going on.

Magazines can be "emptied" and you then receive a pile of rounds. These rounds can be stacked up to certain maximums, before another stack must be made. You can then split these stacks, or drag them onto magazines, or even into a weapon to load one shot.

So shotguns are going to handle ammo differently too? I.e. no more "combining" shotgun shells? That'd be really great.

And can we please load shells into shotguns one at a time? Much more exhilarating while firing for any amount of time when you know reloading won't take only 2 seconds and you're up close and personal with your assailant

Ammo and magazines are separate items in the SA mags act more like attachments than ammo.
