new players viewpoint

Hey guys,

I just got this game a couple days ago and I have to say that I'm a little disappointed...

...that I'll be spending most of my nights playing this game instead of going out.

This game is ADDICTING! I'm still pretty terrible at it, i rarely find a gun and when I do I usually get hit once and am without a bandage so i eventually die anyway. I have to say though, even if I get frustrated because I just found some good loot and died- I respawn with the mindset of "I'm going to fuck you zombies up once I find that loot again." Instead of a lot of what I read on these forums of people just being upset over death.

Thank you for your hard work and dedication to this game, Rocket. I look forward to seeing this game progress.

I'm in the same boat as you mate, found my first gun today, a lee enfield with ammo!

I was in electro I think found the rifle in an office block, so I thought to myself "sweet, now all I have to do is get out of town and I'm home free" easier said than done, I almost made it when a zed that I hadnt noticed rushed me, I heard that firing a weapon near a town is suicide but I couldnt lose the zed if I just ran, made it to a firestation on the edge of town (but not before a bit of a horde was after me) got indoors and picked them off when they were forced to walk, my last shell killed the last zed, so I'm like "well at least I survived AND have a gun for once (no ammo left) so I leave the station, bump into some dude with a shotgun who must have been suprised to see me/scared cos I was incidentally pointing my empty rifle at him and he shot me in the face at point blank range, creased me up it ws funny as hell.

I just g the game as well, I usually just prone and crouch crawl to the countryside untill I can find a barn and maybe a rifle or something. Then I find a building and go shoot a zombie in a small town, let the rest follow me back into a barn and pick them off, than raid the town.
