caps lock key takes me to desktop

Started playing DayZ on a new laptop, a clevo P370EM. If i hit the caps lock key, the computer goes to desktop, same as if the windows key had been pressed. Doesn't happen in other arma2 games or mods, and didn't happen when playing DayZ on my desktop. Im running windows seven pro. I've reassigned the mic key, but caps lock is still very easy to hit at the worst possible moments. Any suggestions?

If its becoming a pain rebind your in-game keys so you don't accidentally hit Caps.

Yeah, there's a small pop-up in the top left corner? Any idea how to disable this? Still, strange it only happens in DayZ.

It will happen in some other games at somepoint to off the top of my head I dunno where the option is to turn it off as I've never used that brand I know with dell it has to be done via the registry and some use the btmon and other have a control panel to turn them off

Take a look through your keyboard setting and any software that came with the laptop.

If not start disabling unrecognisable processes from the list one by and to find out what program is piping up the messages

I ended up disabling it; I think it was a checkbox called hotkeys in MSCONFIG. Thanks
