luckyhendrix 2 Posted June 20, 2012 I'm not sure if it is a bug or not, but it seems my temperature always is quite high, actually I don't think it ever dropped under 38 even, at night under the rain.I never had to use a heatpack or start fire/shelter in a building. Shouldn't it have more impact than that ?
Legacy (DayZ) 1091 Posted June 20, 2012 I've heard that if you keep running your temperature increases?

CactuarLOL 0 Posted June 20, 2012 I've also noticed this bug, realistically the temperature is way off, if my temperature in the real world was over 40 C i'd be seeking immediate medical attention as Hyperthermia (A body temperature over 40 degrees celcius) is a life-threatening condition. My characters always seem to start with a very high fever of 42*C and stay at that temperature the majority of the time.
samladouceur@hotmail.com 0 Posted June 20, 2012 It was my understanding that the temperature on the debug monitor was the exterior temperature. In that case, it makes sense that your guy sweats a lot and gets thirsty pretty quickly, but isn't affected whatsoever by this heat.
Arkham 0 Posted June 20, 2012 The temp outside is 42c or always 110 degrees? Jesus christ, where the hell are we? Russia or the middle of the Sahara?
ZogVarnoka 26 Posted June 20, 2012 Temperature is internal, though unrealistic currently, which rocket acknowledged a while back. But since the mechanic is working fine for now, changing the temp from 42 to 37 or so isn't high priority it seems. We have been playing at nite mostly due to a string of luck leading us to have nvgs. (Killed a bunch of guys with them.) A rainy, windy night will lower temp very slowly if running and fast as hell if stationary. My group has recently run into getting sick on numerous occasions and I'll list our observations dealing with it.1. When temp gets below 32-33 and starts flashing your chance of becoming sick increases.2. Seems chance of becoming sick might be a cumulative. Go below 33 often on multiple occasions and you get sick quicker.3. After getting sick once, you can get sick again from getting injured by any means not just from dropping temp.4. Sickness is transferred to a healthy player after prolonged closeness (10m or less).5. Antibiotics does not cure sickness if temp is low.6. Antibiotics may take multiple doses to cure sickness if sickness was prolonged. Those were just our observations and may not be indicative of actual mechanics. YMMV.
