Past End of Map Cow?

Recommended Posts

So I was following the railroad once when I was playing DayZ, and i got to a place with a bunch of hills and nothing else. No zombies, grass, buildings, anything. But I found what looked like a cardboard cutout of a cow. It was 2d and looked like it was made out of wood. Is that meant to be there?

Well, technically yes and no. There's no simple explanation.

Actually, now that I think about it, it may have been a 3d cow, just not moving at all or reacting to anything.

Animals spawn beyond the map and in debug plains, so yes, it was probably a 3d cow not moving.

I once followed a cow in debug plains hoping it would lead me to a town, it didn't. I eventually died of starvation.
