Jithrandix 0 Posted July 29, 2013 (edited) So I was following the railroad once when I was playing DayZ, and i got to a place with a bunch of hills and nothing else. No zombies, grass, buildings, anything. But I found what looked like a cardboard cutout of a cow. It was 2d and looked like it was made out of wood. Is that meant to be there? taco241 393 Posted July 30, 2013 It's a decoy, used by cow hunters.
Jithrandix 0 Posted July 30, 2013 Actually, now that I think about it, it may have been a 3d cow, just not moving at all or reacting to anything.
plexico 386 Posted July 30, 2013 Animals spawn beyond the map and in debug plains, so yes, it was probably a 3d cow not moving.
Devon206 (DayZ) 77 Posted July 31, 2013 DayZ is weird... Some things may appeal to your eye 200 M away due to its graphics.
SmashT 10907 Posted July 31, 2013 I once followed a cow in debug plains hoping it would lead me to a town, it didn't. I eventually died of starvation.
