Can't merge server's mission.sqm file with own sqm file?

Lately I've been playing in the editor (3D / 2D) and editing the Chernarus map to add more buildings and such for a DayZ server. I haven't added any buildings that I have downloaded, only the regular ones. After saving it, it obviously gives me two files (.biedi and .sqf files), and I can open and edit this map again without problem. I then converted the 3D file to a .sqm file so it can be opened in the 2D editor. Then I went into the server control panel and downloaded the PBO file of Chernarus (dayz_1.chernarus.pbo) and opened it with a PBO manager, extracted the mission..sqm file and launched up Arma 2 OA. I then go into Multiplayer->New->Ok->Select Chernarus->New - Editor.

In the editor I press Load, but the server's .sqm file wont show up. Yes, I did put it in my MPmissions folder, so did I with the edited mission file I have (which I can open without problems)

I have tried replacing the .sqm file in the PBO with the raw mission file I edited, but when I load that up on the server it gets players stuck on the "Wait for host" screen, which then can be fixed by replacing the edited mission file with the actual server mission file again. Now, I'm assuming the "Wait for host" problem is due to not merging the two files, but since I can't merge them for some reason, what do I do?

Hm, no, never actually think about going to BB when it relates to these kinda problems, considering it's a smaller community. But thanks for the tip, I'll send him a PM straight away.
