So where is the light house spawn on the map?

Just the question above.. you know the one by the coast? or unless theres more than one of them... :)

I'm new and terrible at maps. Please help, this would be my first location and surroundings I will try to memorize.

I find when i spawn its important to look to the lower right of hud and it tells me the rough area im in, you can usually scout a little and pinpoint your location. If I happen to miss this though it can be pretty tricky sometimes working out where I am.

As for the lighthouse spawn, im not sure where that is. It may be when you log in you get the hud update i mentioned above, not sure if its just on new spawn.

This map will help you out. Oh and another thing. If you are serious about playing this game, fire up arma 2 armory and play with the helicopter and just fly along the coast and everywhere else to get a better lay of the land....

Read the signs at townentrance. After one weekend and dying over and over again you kind of know where you spawned pretty fast. Dont play without a map.

Sidenode: My mapreadingskills skyrocketed over the last weekend. Time to get into the wilderness of the Eifel...

lol i can barely read a map of my own neighbourhood but yea hopefully as you say I can get the hang of it in no time. :)

There are 4 lighthouses that I know of.

1 - on the beach between Kamenka and Komarovo.

2 - on Cap Golova, a rocky outcrop 2k East of downtown Cherno.

3 - on Drakon, a small, rocky island 1k East of Elektro.

4 - on Krutoy Cap, a small peninsula 4k East of Elektro.

If you are standing on Krutoy Cap, you will see Skalisty Island (the largest on the map) to the South.
