Zavira 0 Posted July 24, 2013 (edited) Hi, I am at a loss of what to do now. I have modified the config files, and tried at ton of different settings, and servers on DayZ, across many different mods, but I usually only average 5-15 FPS, whether the server is full or empty. I have an ok PC, it can run new games on decent/high settings, here are the specs:Foxconn A7DA-S moboAMD Phenom 9600 BE @ 2.4Ghz x4 cores8GB OCZ DDR2 ram @ 1066 with 5-5-5-15 timingsXFX Radeon 6870 DD 1GBRunning Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit I am trying to run the game at 1280x1024 resolution, and I have tried a gamebooster, and only running DayZ Commander and OA. Really not sure what to do now, any help would be greatly appreciated. Edited July 24, 2013 by Zavira
-Se7eN- 874 Posted July 24, 2013 Try these settings. Keep the resolution your using though and make sure your 3d res is the same. also make sure your beta patch is 103718
Zavira 0 Posted July 24, 2013 (edited) I ran around with those settings, and it kept me at 10-17, which made things more smooth, but the best I got was 20 while I was staring at the ocean from a dock. I was getting 10-17 while between Elektro and Solnichiny at a couple buildings and some forest. And yes, my beta patch and everything I am running is up to date. (which includes my drivers and whatnot) Edited July 24, 2013 by Zavira
enforcer1975 1111 Posted July 24, 2013 You can't expect to run the game with decent fps on that hardware. Even high end rigs from that time have problems.
beatSTV 631 Posted July 24, 2013 What do you expect your CPU is running @ 2.4ghz. you can run modern games on a decent setting because your gpu is pretty good. ArmA is CPU intensive and rapes it, if you want to improve your performance look at investing in a new cpu or OC'ing your current
