ramontvgames 32 Posted July 23, 2013 Hello my friends, I play the mod DayZ has over 1 year.As all of you, I'm waiting for DayZ Standalone ...More like everyone can SEE, the team is focused and working hard to make it happen ... (the grand launch), meanwhile I realize is having a very big improvement in DayZ mod,I have a GTX560 + i5 2310 + 8GB ram Corsair 1600Mhz, almost since the release of DayZ Mod (I spend a great difficulty to run it SMOOTH, Without bottlenecks and crashes and Low FPS (I know people with the configuration rougher than mine, eg (i7 + 16GB ram + GTX660ti) who suffers from bottlenecks DayZ mod too .... I heard from a friend of mine (via facebook) that staff DayZ Mod, is preparing a super upgrade for improvement (THE FPS!), Is this true?! Because it takes so much to fix this evil that reaches fans DayZ mod?!, Why so much delay to improve the big bad mod DayZ (lockups, BOTTLENECKS aND LOW FPS), I'm loving the new mod, (DayZ Origins) and one thing I can tell you all .. . it improve FPS DayZ Mod, WILL BE MUCH BETTER!! I know many people who stopped playing the mod due to this problem of FPS with powerful computers ... Please, let's hope the time required for DayZ Standalone plus optimize dayz mod enough for us to play in PEACE!! Thank you! I used google translator, sorry! And to answer your question, I'm not sure how big the improvement will be but yes I've heard that they've optimized the game to run a little better! You shouldn't have to struggle to make it run smoothly anymore. That being said, who knows what will happen with the alpha! Eventually, however, I think the plan is to get it to run at a nice steady FPS rate. Nihoggr 16 Posted July 24, 2013 What I've heard a long time ago already was that they did infact increase the average performance of the game by doing tweaking but they used that "breathing space" they got to increase zombie count etc.So I'm guessing that if they actually launch the damn title, it will run just slightly better than the current mod, but it will contain much more awesome features.
