goldy 1 Posted July 18, 2013 Hello, Just bought a DayZPriv Server and i have noticed the loot on it is crap, you cannot find anything at all anywhere, I've searched many hospitals and the best i found was 2 bandages i dont know if the latest update has made the loot rate crap or if i need to edit it somewhere in the folders. Also Zombies, it seems there are barely any zombies around. How do i increase the zombies spawn rate? So if anyone can help me with detailed advice howto increase loot spawn rate and zombie spawn rate, i would much appreciate it.

KGCxKING 3 Posted July 18, 2013 1. what mod are you running2. Loot in the dayZ mods is defined by the amount of players on the map, more players, more loot spawning3. Editing server loot, isn't the easiest thing unless you've been doing it for a while
Rickious 0 Posted July 18, 2013 Im co-owner with Goldy. We have no plugins so far, theres 3-6 players online as we have only just taken password off so that will factor in, But, we are finding loot piles, just 90% cans etc
KGCxKING 3 Posted July 18, 2013 (edited) DayZ has gone through some harsh updates lately, so the loot tables might just be crap to be honest, Rocket's changed a lot of things, I know other mods have a well built loot table but I wont be able to help with the normal DayZ mod since i haven't played it in quite some time, and 4 ppl is enough to spawn some pretty decent stuff Edited July 18, 2013 by KGCxKING
Rickious 0 Posted July 19, 2013 Cheers woodland. out of curiosity what mod/s do you play? Not sure why Rocket cant recognize that the variety of servers required server owners more flexibility from his vanilla vision. Allowing us to tweak what guns and vehicles are banned, loot and zombie spawns would mean much more variation in servers, more room for donation perks, both would mean more players, and longer term players, more game sales, more server sales. I seriously tink they are nerfing the mod so people are even more likely to buy the standalone, OR bringing the mod in-line with and preparing us for some harsh elements of the standalone.
