Hey guys,

My friend and I decided to start playing DayZ and were wondering if there was a version of DayZ that allows you to identify teammates or group members? This isn't a huge deal, really. Just wanted to check. Sorry if this has been discussed. After a brief search, I couldn't find anything.

I played on a Panthera server recently that allowed you to tag a friend or friendly, they would then show on the map as a dot.

I have no idea what the script was called though but it is possible to do, good luck finding it and update this post when you do, it might help others :)

Epoch allows you to tag people as friendly. It doesn't show anything on the map but they have a glowing orb attached to their wrist. I think they just added different colored orbs to help identify bandits and hero's as well which only makes sence since Epoch has a ton of different skins.
