I need help! Server rejected bad version

Please help. Everytime I try to join a server it says "Server rejected, bad version" Please anyone help. Love this game, and miss playing it!

Im not sure. All I use is the one on steam

when you launch it from steam do you select play with beta version

not sure, I have arma2 and arma 2 operation arrowhead. DayZ mod was free from steam.

install the arrowhead beta in steam and launch dayz mod from the game list and select play with beta

hey, I downloaded the demo. and I said launch dayz with beta patch. IM SO CONFUSED!! :-(

what demo you need the full game to play dayz

you should be launching with beta patch as i said before in my posts

This poor man is lost in the world of steam and simple instructions.

let me tell you this is what you do.

1.download arma2 combind opartions, aka arma2/arma2 opration arrowhead (arma 2 free or the demo of arrowhead will not work.)

2.then download dayz from steam.

3.download the beta patch that should be in your steam library

4.launch the dayz mod and click the circle next to play with beta patch.

5.select a server and it should work,if not select a different server.
