where dayz can be played

hello, im new to this game, ive seen some gameplays on youtube and this game is awsome, i decided to play it, but then a friend of mine told me he red on a forum, that u can play dayz only in US... now, u may think- y dont u just download and see it your self?, the anwser is- i need to buy arma 2 combined operations.. and if u do have to be in US to play dayz, and i will buy it, i will just lose 25$... so this is y im asking it... so can u play it like all around the world? or just in US?...

you can play it anywhere, there are dayz server hosted in pretty much every country.

You can play DayZ in any country with an internet connection, no problem. To my knowledge, no countries have blocked ArmA service (except for Iran, which will not allow you to purchase ArmA 3, unrelated to DayZ).

If you live in China or a country with similar internet restrictions, you may need to use a proxy to join American/European servers (I do not know for a fact).

American, Russian, British, Australian, Brazilian, and Irish gamers all have active slots in DayZ. I've met Germans, Russians, Aussies, Americans, Brits, Welshman, Irishman, and many others in the game.

i duno i like a russian server every once in awhile, they seem to have mastered fresh spawn killing ;)
