I wish i could get a good fps my pc can run anything but then dayz is like oh hell no

Haven't tested my new CPU in an open field yet but I hit 150 FPS in Elektro when I turn everything to very low/off.

Average is 30-40, I think I've seen around 45

How can you tell?  Is there a way to display it?

You can use Fraps. It'll display it in the top left corner in big yellow numbers.
