ThatOneDude_ 0 Posted June 30, 2013 I bought the Arma 2 complete edition two weeks ago from Steam to play DayZ and I haven't played it even once yet due to start-up errors! I have literally tried everything! Nothing works and when it does it just creates new errors. DayZ Commander doesn't work! I give it correct direct paths to the files and it cant find them. My security doesn't interfere with it. I need an expert about the game and its software. I downloaded Arma 2 first, finished boot camp and exited safely. Then downloaded OA, when starting up OA it gives me a code and tells me to enter it when the game ask for it. The Game Never Ask For It! I have redownloaded everything numerous times. I have verified the files in administrative mode. When attempting to start up DayZ I first get this error. Failed to load file "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\pmc\addons\air_pmc.pbo" - decryption of headers failed. Also Failed to load file "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\baf\addons\missions_2_baf.pbo" - decryption of headers failed. The game continues to start up then it says "wrong code given in setup" Once it did start up (with errors of course) and at the home screen it said this. No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgVehicles/Soldier_Crew_PMC.scope'. Then I tried joing a server and it gave me this error. Files "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\baf\addons\language_baf.pbo", "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\baf\addons\missions_2_baf.pbo", "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\baf\addons\missions_baf.pbo", "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\baf\addons\shapur_baf.pbo", "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\baf\addons\sounds_baf.pbo", "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\baf\addons\tracked_d_baf.pbo", ... are not signed by a key accepted by this server. To play on this server, remove listed files or install additional accepted keys. So, I have no clue what to do and need serious help with fixing this game. Please Advise! Once they've got your money your not their problem anymore. its not that they do not care, it's not their responsibility, when you buy the game, its your responsibility, to install it, keep it safe, and no give your information to anyone, ontop of that only thing they can help you with is Steam games and steam issues, these issues you are having are Bohemia related. With all that being said. You need to do everything in steps. Uninstall everything, Arma 2/OA/BAF/PMC/DAY/Dayzcommander/, then once you uninstall it out of steam, look in your search bar for arma2, Bohemia Interactive arma 2 profiles in your documents... Everything. then when you are done doing that. Open start bar, type in search Regedit.Open it and look for these strings:HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Bohemia InteractiveHKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Bohemia Interactive StudioHKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Dotjosh StudiosHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Bohemia Interactive Studio (do not delete the one that has arma 3, Thats not related, it'll have DLCS not games)Delete those, then restart your computer.
