DayZ Commander won't repair or install modpack/maps

So i just got DayZ a few days ago and several of my friends told me about the game so i decided to try it out. I am able to get the steam version of DayZ to work however i can't seem to get DayZ Commander to work. DayZ Commander says my DayZ mod is corrupt and it refuses to repair it. I also keep getting error messages and i dunno how to fix this, please help.

if you put the error messages we may be able to help you..

if you install dayz from steam dayz commander always sees it as corrupt

Actually I think I may have fixed it. All i had to do was delete the steam version and it works. I hope at least.

What if there are no error codes. The error code is literally "error downloading" in big bold red letters. The problem is DayZ commander. Not Arma 2. DayZ commander will not install mods. -edit: spelling
