Suggestion for standalone splash screen/ lobby guide.

Hello. It is well known that there exists a trend in Dayz to shoot first ask questions later. Many believe ( rightly so) that the SA will not change this enough. Whatever changes or incentives to team up are introduced the mentality of SOS is too well established.

So my suggestion is a simple one. Would it be possible to have either a splash screen or lobby guide or some kind of text+ image based guide or notes highlighting the advantages and disadvantages of team play/ co-op play? It could be as simple as listing certain things or even a guide with pictures to show what can be achieved with teamwork or without.

Im not against PvP. In fact I love it. I do feel though that some education on SA prior to spawning in would help in many ways.

Tip #1: Stay far away from towns if you have a scoped rifle. Shoot anyone on sight but only beyond 1000m so they can't spot you. You don't need to go and loot the body anyway since weapons and food spawn by the thousand.

Not sure how you could highlight it but I agree that there should be clear advantages/disadvantages. It's far too easy to become a bandit at present and not enough reward for the opposite.
